Please note that not all of the places listed below have been visited by the Chapter.  It is the responsibility of the consumer to be satisfied that the farm's production methods and products offered meet their expectations.  Some farms are listed as Certified Organic, and many others are not certified but use organic practices to the best of their ability.  It is safe to say that markets/restaurants that feature local food and our cherished local farmers are miles ahead of industrial agriculture and mega confined-livestock operations.  We are blessed with many producers who have exceptional knowledge around animal husbandry and land regeneration.

WAPF challenges our members and friends to help us celebrate twenty-five years of accurate information on diet and health by committing to support local farms.  We call it the 50-50 Pledge: spend at least 50 percent of your food dollar by purchasing raw milk and raw milk products, eggs, poultry, meat and produce directly from local farmers and artisans. With the other 50 percent of your food dollar you can celebrate how small the world has become and enjoy, for example, rice, pineapple and spices from other parts of the world.  Become a WAPF Member today!

KS Farm, located near Spirit River, AB, is a small family-run, pasture-based farm offering 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Welsh Black beef, as well as pastured natural lamb, pork, and chicken.
